GENEVA CLASSICS ’09: What an eyeful!

Hall 7 of PALEXPO was « filled to the brim » last weekend with visitors and exhibitions at the 4th edition of GENEVA CLASSICS, the exhibition dedicated to all types of historic transportation. Some 21,000 visitors congregated in the 15,000 square meters of the Hall and beyond onto the adjoining airport tarmac to see the 22 historic aircraft on display there. Included in the throngs of visitors were Commandant de Corps André Blattmann, Commander of the Swiss Army, and Commandant de Corps Markus Gygax, Commander of the Swiss Air Force. +

GENEVA CLASSICS ’09: An epic celebration of historic transportation

GENEVA CLASSICS will take place from September 25 to 27, 2009 in Hall 7 of PALEXPO and on the tarmac of Geneva International Airport. 4 years after its first edition, this exhibition of historic transportation strives to maintain its exceptional character, with classic automobiles, aircraft, boats and motorcycles that continue to amaze visitors with their diversity and rarity. +

ASTON MARTIN in the spotlight

The 4th edition of this exhibition of historic transportation, which takes place from September 25th to 27th, will be highlighted by a very attractive and superb exhibition of Aston Martins in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of its victory in Le Mans. More than 28 models of series and special road cars, racing cars, and several authentic James Bond cars will be on display in Hall 7 of GENEVA PALEXPO. +

A fantastic exhibition of military aircraft!

The ambition of the exhibition staged for enthusiasts of old-timer forms of transportation is to assemble the largest number of Swiss military aircraft ever seen! The special exhibition on the tarmac is organized with the support of Geneva International Airport (AIG), the help of the Swiss Air Force and private associations, museums and owners. +

Swiss history told through military aircraft

GENEVA CLASSICS, the exceptional show for fans of all modes of historic transportation, has taken on the challenge of bringing together the largest number of historic Swiss military aircraft ever assembled! 22 aircraft have already been confirmed. This special exhibition has been organised with the support of the Geneva International Airport, plus the help of the Swiss Air Force and several associations, museums, and private owners. The show will be held September 25-27, 2009 in Hall 7 at PALEXPO in Geneva and on the adjoining airport tarmac. +

GENEVA CLASSICS‘09: Searching for some rare gems!

The 4th edition of GENEVA CLASSICS, the exhibition that brings together historic vehicles, boats, aircraft, and motorcycles, will be held from September 25-27, 2009 in Halls 6 and 7 at GENEVA PALEXPO and on the tarmac of Geneva International Airport. A highlight for this year will be a new auction! The organisers are now looking for classic vehicles for this sale. +

The 2008 edition: Another great success!

GENEVA CLASSICS, the exhibition celebrating all forms of transportation from yesteryear, attracted some 20,600 visitors last weekend to Halls 7 and 6 of GENEVA PALEXPO and to the tarmac of Geneva International Airport. This represents an increase of 20% over last years visitor count. This success is even more remarkable given the fact that the 2008 show was one day shorter than the previous two years. +
