Welcome to GENEVA CLASSICS '09

GENEVA CLASSICS is an exhibition unique in Europe as it is dedicated to all forms of transportation from yesteryear. Every year it brings together rare classic cars and other vehicles, historic aircraft, boats and motorcycles, all superbly displayed in Hall 7 of GENEVA PALEXPO and on the tarmac of the Geneva International Airport (AIG).

The third edition closed its doors last October 5th, having registered an increase in attendance of 20% over 2007. Numbering around 20,600, these visitors were highly impressed by the number of vehicles and aircraft on display. There was also a lot of positive feedback regarding the quality of restoration of the rare and historic treasures being shown. The 106 exhibitors from all over Europe and from Japan were also highly enthusiastic about the elegant surroundings of the exhibition and the enhanced value it gave to their stands.

There were many interesting daily events this year, including presentations on aviation history by Bernard Chabbert, sessions dedicated to and attended by drivers who raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and a conference organised by the Swiss Federation of Ancient Vehicles (FSVA).

GENEVA CLASSICS will continue to provide an exceptional opportunity for bringing together enthusiasts and top level collectors who appreciate all kinds and examples of exceptional historic transportation.
